My room was a WRECK the day I started to pack for Bolivia, which was the same day I had to completely move out of my apartment--so glad that's over with! jajaja
WOW! I can’t
believe it’s already been exactly one week since I was in my last apartment
wishing I were on the plane to Bolivia rather than packing up my room. As soon
as I hopped on I-77 to Sarah’s house (hauling
about a third of my possessions in my car) , I put all of the madness that had
taken place throughout the week behind me. I absolutely cannot think of a day
as crazy as July 25/26, 2013, but as soon as Sarah and I walked into the
airport, all I could do was grin from ear to ear and speak with excitement and laughter,
even though I was totally sleep deprived from the all nighter I pulled on
Thursday. The reality of actually going to Bolivia felt stronger and stronger
as I walked through Charlotte Douglas security, ate Chinese during the layover
in Miami, and waited in line for visas in Santa Cruz!
Once I received my luggage in Bolivia, I wasn’t too surprised to see that it was taped up with a plastic bag over it….It was just the beginning to a crazy trip! It’s been great!!! Whether it’s through sharing testimonies, through laughing about confusion of words, or through being taught Spanish phrases and songs, there is definitely unity and lots of bonding between the team and the students, which is one thing we prayed for. Praise God! This is my third attempt to blog and finally I am able to actually post something. This was kind of short and pathetic, I will write more hopefully sooner than later--there is SO much more to share!! Overall, I love Bolivia and the family of God!
I essentially paid $5.00 for all of this because Tamara and I split our meal in half. Really good deal for lunch in an AIRPORT!

The clouds are always my favorite part of flying (:
The Arrival!
No wonder I couldn't find my luggage at first!
Looks like you had quite the adventure on the way down... and so did your luggage!
